This past Saturday, Radio Rootz presented a workshop during the Sixth Annual Grassroots Media Conference in Hunter College.Staying true to their mission of not only creating a more diverse, ethical, and independent media, but also using media as a tool for social change, Rootz youth discussed how they work towards their goal. In addition, these workshop attendees got hands-on training on how to produced a vox-pop and went right onto the field to put their new skills to practice and asked conference goers what this year's conference theme "From Hope to Action" meant to them.
